July 21, 22, 28 & 29th, 2017
The first in a trilogy of performances, Bartholomew Swims was a collaboration with Austin Parks & Recreation Aquatics Division.
Presented at Austin’s Bartholomew Municipal Pool, the performance was free to attend for an audience of 2,000+. Audience members were asked to come in their swimsuits so they could join the dance and jump in the water. Bartholomew Swims offered a space for shared, embodied civic action within the public space of the city pool.
