Delia Garza is the Austin City Council Member for District 2, including the neighborhood of Dove Springs. She was one of the first Mexican-American female firefighters in the Austin Fire Department before serving as Assistant Attorney Generals. She was sworn into Austin City Council on January 7, 2015, and was elected Mayor Pro Tem in 2019.
